This is a touching name story from chief845214. He talks about how his dad helped him come up with his male name, which was especially important to him because his dad also named him at birth.
I like my name, Iris, which means, "Goddess of the Rainbow," and my mom had a very special reason for naming me that. So I REFUSE to change it, even if my ovaries decide to start producing a male Testosterone level overnight (which they won't). There is NO OTHER NAME, especially a male one, to which I'd feel such a sense of, "That's me!" So I refuse to destroy my body and/or change it, end of story.
